Pine Log Road widening advances toward four lanes

South Carolina DOT crews push a phased upgrade of Pine Log Road from a two lane to a four lane divided highway with a center turning lane. Camellia Show Attracts 986 Entries At Aiken Mall

Shoppers at the Aiken Mall viewing 986 camellia entries in colors from red to purple. Aiken Camellia Club members answered questions on growing and grafting camellias. Winners span several categories including C Japonica open and protected, C reticulata, C hybrid, and best white bloom. The show runs Sunday from 1 30 to 5 p m with members available to advise on cultivation and club membership.
