Sanford pledges open for business push retooling Commerce
Gov elect Mark Sanford addressed 200 business and legislative leaders at the 17th SC BIPEC meeting vowing to retool the Commerce Department and resist a privately funded Jasper port. He backed Commerce secretary pick Bob Faith to recruit industry and reform culture, and urged colleges to specialize to avoid duplication.
