Wetzel's appointment to the historic preservation commission passed 5-1 amid debate over past actions. Twins thrive after early march of dimes support

Patel family twins Survantha and Gaelan benefited from March of Dimes research funded therapies and ongoing medical care. The South Carolina chapter reported 3.9 million dollars invested in programs including research grants and community services. The family, chosen as Aiken Ambassador family, will join WalkAmerica events starting January 23 with a May 3 walk at the H Odell Weeks Activities Center.
