Race riot homicides York Pa attempts to rebound
In York Pennsylvania hundreds gathered for multicultural events Sunday as the city tried to rebound from violent protests linked to a weekend visit by white supremacists and other extremists. Local officials cited arrests tied to long running race riot tensions and noted out of state suspects amid the unrest. Aiken resident Lillie Belle Allen, killed in 1968 riots, was cited in the context of ongoing tensions. World Church of the Creator leader Matthew Hale praised his York presence, while residents sought community unity and resilience through the Sunday program.
