Six Die In South Carolina Weekend Traffic Crashes
Six people were killed in South Carolina weekend crashes including two double fatalities. Robert Foster Gressett 37 of Longs and Jenny Lee Vereen of Loris died in a head on collision on South Carolina 905 in Horry County at 1130 Saturday. Two cousins from Orangeburg County died when their car hit a bridge railing on U S 321 North about 730 Saturday near Bamberg County. Ronnie Jamison 20 and Paul Jamison 28 of Norway were traveling north at high speed when the car crossed the center line and struck the bridge left side. Harold Brown 35 of Brunson died when his vehicle hit a tree and caught fire on a secondary road in Hampton County at 245 Saturday. Daniel Johnson 24 of Hopkins died in a head on crash on South Carolina 48 in Richland County at 130 Saturday. The Associated Press tallies fatal weekend crashes from 6 p m Friday to midnight Sunday.
