Police seek suspect in Ponderosa robbery

Man Thwarts Vehicle Break-In On Yates Street
An Aiken man armed with a handgun confronted a suspect breaking into his vehicle on Yates Street Tuesday afternoon. The suspect, described as a tall Black male with short dreadlocks in a white shirt, fled, dropping jumper cables and a cellphone charger and losing his hat. Police could not locate him.
