NAACP to Meet After Traffic Stop Involving ADPS Officer
The Aiken NAACP will hold a special meeting Sunday at 6 pm at Friendship Baptist Church to discuss the Drumming family case against a Aiken Department of Public Safety officer. LaPrell Drumming suffered a concussion after a traffic stop and alleged window destruction. Officer Frank Conoly was fired for unbecoming conduct following the complaint. The race element remains undetermined.
