Collision damages well known metalwork horse sculpture
Aiken's Premier Metals horse sculpture on Wagoner Road was struck during a wrong way two car crash on New Year’s Day. Fire crews, sheriff and highway patrol responded. the art piece is to be repaired and relocated to a sturdier base, with no injuries reported. The work, created in 2007 by the Metal Company, has become a local landmark and symbol for the area.
