McMaster accused of taking donations above the limit
The Ethics Commission voted to pursue allegations that Lieutenant Governor Henry McMaster received 51 over the limit contributions during his 2010 gubernatorial campaign debt retirement. Donors gave between 250 and 3500 dollars each, totaling about 150000 dollars after the primary. A March 18 public hearing is scheduled to determine probable cause.
