A group of Aiken women who posed nude for a charity calendar has won a state wide Volunteer of the Year award from the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. The calendar, featuring 18 women aged 60 and older, helped raise over $160 000 for the Aiken Area Council on Aging and earlier won a local Volunteer of the Year honor from the Lower Savannah Council of Governments amid mixed reactions.
