Veterans train to pursue child predators with ICE interns
Os kar Zepeda, a 29 year old veteran with nine tours, joins a 17 member class of vets trained in computer forensics for ICE. The volunteers work unpaid for a year and may not secure full time posts after. Zepeda says the mission outweighs pay and he stays driven to protect his family. Shannon Krieger, Army veteran now at an ICE office in New Orleans, adds she pursued this fight for meaningful work beyond a paycheck.
