Bills seek August start for South Carolina schools

Christmas in Hopelands draws nearly fifteen thousand visitors

Crowds braved subfreezing nights as 14 985 people attended Christmas in Hopelands in Aiken. Organizer Andrew Parker noted the weather friendly run kept the 75 000 light display open, surpassing last three years. The display ran Dec 11 to 27 with 1 766 manhours invested.
