A Halloween attack left him with a lacerated kidney and lasting brain injury but sparked his drive to help others. Now 43, he owns Watford's School of Karate, serves as Kick Drugs Out of America chair, and teaches students from ages 3 to 81 while showcasing techniques at AMBUCS events.
