Forrest City chancery Judge Ben Storey serving in the Persian Gulf took the oath by phone on New Year’s Day while on Army duty. Judge John Pittman of Helena said he expected the call and administered the oath at 5 a.m. Storey served in Saudi Arabia since December 4. The officers conducted the ceremony in casual attire.
