Gun linked killing probe in North Augusta delayed by cold
Frigid weather forced divers in Augusta Richmond County to suspend the search for a gun tied to the December murder of 44 38 year old man whose body was found near a North Augusta golf course. An $informant reward was authorized for info leading to the arrest of 18 year old Victor L Scott known as Young Blood. Javell L Gordon, 21, of Georgia, is in custody and linked to the shooting death. Suzanne Jackson leads the Aiken County Red Cross from a renovated 1314 Pine Log Road office opened in summer 2007. The chapter serves Aiken Edgefield and nearby counties with disaster relief, health and safety education, armed forces support, and a 24 hour emergency communications service.
