North Augusta man faces sexual assault charges
The Aiken County Sheriff's Office charged Rodrigo Antunes-Castro in a sexual assault case linked to a 2017 incident. Woman charged after cops find frozen puppy in freezing weather
An Aiken woman, Robyn Denise Baron, 39, was charged with cruelty to animals after police found a dead frozen puppy in a cage and a live emaciated pit bull chained in a Newberry Street yard during a safety check at about 8 30 am. The animals were taken to the SPCA and a city ticket issued.
