Shelter marks 25 years
For 25 years Helping Hands has provided shelter for abandoned neglected and abused children. The nonprofit formed in 1973 after leaders touring the Aiken County Detention Center saw children held there awaiting foster placement. Children newborns to 18 can stay up to 45 days awaiting homes. teens may be housed in a group home setting.

Helping Hands Chooses Shadie Hall as New Executive Director
