A Slidell man, 20 year old Jason Jinks of Bay St. Louis, died three days after backing a car in the dark with the door open to retrieve his hat. A 14 year old rear passenger said Jinks backed at 25 to 30 mph, hit the brakes, and fell out. Witnesses noted he had been drinking.
