Singer Andy Williams has nearly completed talks to buy Two Trees, the Grace estate in Aiken at Grace Avenue and Whiskey Road. The nine acre property, valued around 500000, includes the main house, stables, tennis court and gardens. The late Elise Laden Grace died last November 1979 leaving heirs Allison Grace Paine Patricia Grace Corey and Elise Grace Newbold. Williams has past ties to Aiken and plans remain undisclosed.

Jail May Get Magistrate Help In Aiken County
Aiken County legislative delegation voted to hire a part time night duty magistrate to relieve four full time judges at the jail.
