First Baby Of ’93 Keeps Mom Waiting

Rebecca Danielle Turner was the first baby born in Aiken County for 1993. She arrived at 3:32 a.m. Friday after 18 hours of labor at 19 3/4 inches and 6 pounds 13 ounces at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Her father Mike Turner stayed with Rebecca’s mother Rebecca Turner, and Dr. Gasnel Bryan delivered the child.
