Autopsy cites massive skull brain damage. Fang worked for a Hong Kong tailoring firm supplying U S servicemen in West Germany.
Edward Falk of Newton New Jersey died in New York Hospital after a Christmas Day triple-transplant of heart and two lungs. Falk, 43, was the second person to receive such a combined operation. death followed lung rejection.
The Boston Globe reports over $1 million in counterfeit money stolen postal orders and bank checks moved through Greater Boston in the past month. Female drug addicts, paid at least $200 weekly, were given false IDs, housed in motels and upscale apartments, and chauffeured to operate the scam. One participant said the illicit cash flow suits her drug habit.
Rescue workers reached a remote mountain site near Crossville where the wreckage of a plane piloted by Toy Lenning of Murray Kentucky was spotted from the air. Lenning, 56, was found inside the craft after disappearing December 23. FAA commented.
