Haiti sues Duvalier aides over alleged public funds theft
Haiti filed suits against 35 associates of ousted dictator Jean-Claude Duvalier accusing them of misappropriating public money. Justice Ministry spokesman Pierre Ezechias said the action was filed last week though the total stolen amount was not disclosed. activists say the case marks a long-awaited step after a 1986 uprising.
