Today in Aiken and Edgefield counties a series of events unfolds. Cumberland Village hosts a Neuropathy Support Group at 3 p.m. and a George and Martha Washington portrayal. Johnston Edgefield Trenton Middle School marks Black History Month with an African-American Arts Festival at 7 p.m. featuring Dr. Robert Turner, Dominique Benn, STHS Choir, and Radio Angels. USC Aiken presents Moscow Festival Ballet performing Don Quixote at 8 p.m. Etherredge Center box office is 641-3305 for tickets.

North Augusta Middle School Gifted and Talented students formed four teams to research develop and pitch products. Topics included Starburst toothpaste a premium cologne and energy bars. Each student delivered a portion of the presentation and wore business attire as if in a real meeting. Next they will create ads for print radio and TV.
