Dr. Andrew Hopkins told Sunrise Rotary that chiropractic costs remain steady amid rising health care expenses and HMOs. He argued HMOs divert money to managers, increasing costs, while productivity losses are the biggest overall health care expense. Hopkins likened spinal nerves to a building’s electrical network and described chiropractors locating and fixing the nerve “outages.”
