Teen volunteers join Global Night Commute for Uganda awareness
About 200 teenagers from area homes walked to Bethleham Lutheran Church on Whiskey Road to sleep on church grounds as part of Global Night Commute. They aimed to raise awareness of northern Uganda's civil war and child abductions. David Neira, 17, coordinated the event for the nonprofit sponsor.
