Widow of Fred Calvin Alexander, she was born January 19 1920 daughter of Benjamin and Henrietta Moore Boatwright. She studied piano at Juilliard and taught at Holton Arms School. Survived by two sons, three stepsons, four grandchildren two great grandchildren and many relatives. Burial at Grace Episcopal Ridge Spring February 25 2010 with memorials to Grace Episcopal or South Caroliniana Library.
