Sluman ends winless streak with Tucson title
Jeff Sluman clinched the Tucson Chrysler Classic with a 5 under 67 to finish 13 under 275 and end a 241 tournament winless run. He birdied No 17 to take the lead as Steve Jones bogeyed the final hole, while Jones narrowly missed a playoff after a 45 foot bogey putt. Bud Allin secured his first Senior PGA Tour win at AmEx Invitational, leading by three entering the final round and holding on with a clutch two putt from 60 feet. Jim Colbert finished second after a 67.
