The American Cancer Society survey shows 82 percent blame poor diet for cancer and 61 percent cite obesity as a cause. Yet 51 percent feel little they can do to lower their risk despite 1984 guidelines tying obesity, high fat intake, and alcohol use to cancer.
A 22 year study led by Rowell Huesmann and Leonard Eron at the University of Illinois Chicago links childhood aggression to lower intellectual and professional achievement at age 30. Third grade bullies showed weaker outcomes than non aggressive peers with similar IQ.
