Aiken man sentenced to 41 years for kidnapping and gun charges
Michael Antwon Fuller, 25, of Aiken, was convicted of kidnapping, unlawful carrying of a pistol, possession of a stolen pistol and possession of a pistol during a violent crime after an incident on December 20, 2013 in which he forced a woman to drive him around at gunpoint near Aiken Regional Medical Centers. He was found not guilty of first degree criminal sexual assault and first degree assault and battery. The judge imposed 30 years for kidnapping, plus one year and five years for the three weapon charges respectively.

Second man arrested in North Augusta store robbery
Demarkus Mealing, 20, of Crystal Springs Road, is charged with armed robbery in the January armed robbery at an Atomic Road convenience store. Matthew Johnson, 22, of Clearwater, was arrested February 15 for related offenses after a traffic stop yielded a stolen pistol.
