County Administrator Clay Killian says Langley Pond repairs could reach 800000, offset by grants and taxes. Water depth now five feet lower, plans include siphon installation, stump removal, and sandbar clearance for safety. 2016 target to host competitions if fixes permit. A finish line tower costing 500000 to 600000 funded by grants, road access to boost park use, and a future boathouse envision private fundraising and possible hotel nearby.
