Man Arrested on 2005 Warrants in Aiken County
A 54 year old man, Floyd Goodwin Jr. of Bettis Academy Road Trenton, was stopped for speeding by state troopers Tuesday and found wanted by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office for kidnapping and criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature since summer 2005. He allegedly held a household member at knifepoint in August 2005 and threatened to kill her. He was arrested and booked at the Aiken County detention center.

Police find family living in filthy conditions in Graniteville
Deputies found two children living in filthy conditions at a Railroad Street home in Graniteville. Officers enacted a safety plan sending the family to stay with relatives in West Columbia. The deputy noted garbage bags on the porch kitchen waste and dog feces throughout the bedroom area. Children slept on floor mattresses in the living room.
