Report says an Atlanta editor was kidnapped on Wednesday night as police hunt for a group likely operating beyond a local scene. The month sees a second major abduction, while a Springfield editor notes nationwide risk.
IRS agents investigated gasoline stations in Aiken for overcharging customers. Three stations Owens Shell at 102 Whiskey Rd, Richland Avenue Shell at 225 Richland Ave, and Hawkins Texaco at 207 Richland Ave were cited by the Stabilization Division for overcharges.
