Aiken County BLOTTER Reports Shed Break-In and Vehicle Thefts
A Warrenville woman reported someone tried to enter a shed on Pelter Street after a window was broken. Deputies responded to Beech Island for a domestic dispute over alleged long simmering infidelity. A North Augusta vehicle was stolen from a used car lot on Old Edgefield Road and later seen near a bank. An abandoned car was found at Columbia Highway Elementary with no owner identity. An Aiken woman said her boyfriend stole over 900 dollars from her Aldrich Street home. Aiken youths faced charges for marijuana possession and vehicle break-ins at Rutland Drive schools.

Man in Beech Island faces drug and weapon charges
A Beech Island man, Stanley David Hicks Sr., 35, was arrested after deputies searched a River Bend Drive home seeking a missing motorcycle and trailer. They found methamphetamine, a gun, knives, a seized motorcycle plate, and a stolen vehicle, charging Hicks with trafficking meth, possession of meth or cocaine base, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He remained in custody Friday.
