Registry poll details do not call telemarketers
The AP Ipsos survey of 1000 adults found about half registered on the do not call list and 74 percent of those said telemarketing calls have decreased. It notes fines for violators, exemptions for charities and political campaigns, and that do not spam ideas face skepticism. The poll runs Feb 16 to 18 with an 8 point margin.
