Site marks 50 years of Savannah River Mission history
The CNTA sponsors the SRS 50th Anniversary year long celebration with events and exhibits. CNTA chair John Granaghan recalls the site’s classified past and responsibility shared by the community. Highlights include a traveling photo exhibit at the Aiken County Historical Museum, Westinghouse Hall dedication at USC Aiken, the Gaver Cup at the Aiken Trials, student essay contests, and ecological tours led by the University of Georgia and Savannah River Ecology Laboratory with a March 24 preregistration deadline.
