Ebony Fashion Fair dazzles USC Aiken with color rich show
More than 600 spectators filled the Etherredge Center in Aiken for the 38th Ebony Fashion Fair. Models from across the nation showcased vibrant garments by Yves Saint Laurent Dior Mugler Versace Givenchy and Bob Mackie under the theme The Power of Color. Augusta residents Marilyn Gonzalez Phyllis Harris Catherine Jones and Jackie McClendon attended and praised the event. Ticket proceeds benefit the Services to Youth Committee for area programs including a mentoring project for middle school girls with plans to expand to high school students.
