Jury convicts Carter in armed burglary and kidnapping case
Rashawan Vertez Carter, 27, found guilty Thursday of armed robbery, first degree burglary, kidnapping, weapons charges, and firearm possession by a felon in a May 2015 Aiken home invasion that left 21 year old Darius Scruggs dead. Judge set sentencing for Friday morning.
