Council To Consider Testing Waste Drums

Aiken County Council will meet tomorrow at 6:50 to discuss random drum testing at Wagener landfill amid allegations of chemical waste dumping. The session also covers a $79 000 Belvedere Fire District bond ordinance, amendments to Indigent Care and Planning Commission ordinances, a feasibility study for a full time county attorney, and a $78 539.95 DOE tax in lieu payment for the Savannah River Plant.
