Journee, born March 4 2010 at 37 weeks to April and Thomas Harris, was diagnosed prenatally with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome affecting her left ventricle and mitral valve. After early catheterization and a recommended transfer for open heart surgery, Journee has undergone several procedures and is now a lively, active child thriving with ongoing medical care.
