Three Die In Plane Crash Near Atlanta
Three Army officers were killed when their military airplane crashed while attempting to land at Fulton County Airport near Atlanta. An Aiken woman Barbara Jane Toole died on arrival at Aiken County Hospital after a morning shooting at 8 45. Rodney Toole, her husband, is in custody on murder charges. Investigators say the shooting occurred in the front yard of Toole's father’s home and no motive has been established. Authorities also reported a break in at Hartley’s TV and Appliance Store on Edgefield Road in Belvedere with a truck load of six televisions and several lawn mowers left behind.
