James Brown honored posthumously at Grammys
New York reports James Brown was remembered at the Grammys with a Christina Aguilera performance that critics say missed the mark while Eagles received a three song medley. The tribute followed black and white footage and a red robe on the mic stand, with no clear verbal or musical expression of Brown’s impact. Brown had prior wins including a 1965 best R B recording for Papa's Brand New Bag and 1991 box set Star Time notes.
