Comcast records Web browsing of 1 million Internet subscribers
Comcast Corp has begun recording the Web pages visited by its 1 million high speed Internet subscribers without notifying them. The company says the data will help speed up its network and cut costs, while privacy experts warn the system may capture sensitive details. Earthlink and AOL say they do not track personal Web activity for privacy reasons.
