USC delays bids for 18000 seat basketball arena
STATE COLUMBIA South Carolina AP The University of South Carolina has delayed opening bids for a new 18000 seat basketball arena until February 27 to give contractors more time. Kerry Tharp associate athletics director says it will make a tight schedule even tighter but the general contractors requested the delay and will build the building.
