Dogs find new homes after Massachusetts shelter move
Gretchen and twelve other dogs from Aiken County Animal Control were sent to a no kill shelter in Massachusetts in a 1,000 mile transport by Fairway Horse Transport. Within a week more than 10 have found new homes in the Northeast shelter system. Betty Bilton of the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem welcomed the pups on February 4 as they began new lives.
