Greenwood bar ordered to pay $10 million in crash case
A Greenwood County jury ruled The Get Away Grill & Lounge liable for serving Hoyt Helton who, at age 54, 0.212 alcohol level, crashed a car killing himself and injuring 18 year old Jon Erik Hartfield. The Get Away plans appeal though collection may be limited due to nonprofit status. Hartfield faced long recovery and lifetime care needs.

Man turns himself in after bar shootings in South Carolina
