Aiken chiropractor charged in 2017 alleged sexual assault case
The Aiken County Sheriff's Office released details of an alleged sexual assault from July 2017 involving chiropractor Maurice Wallace. Wallace, 41, of Boxelder Drive, was arrested Jan. 16 on third degree criminal sexual conduct, posting a $1,500 bond. Investigators say the victim drank with Wallace at a local restaurant, had memory gaps after a tequila shot Wallace offered, and later reported being unable to recall events and finding her pants removed. The alleged assault is said to have occurred between 8 and 9:30 p.m. at the Spine Doctors office on Whiskey Road.

Stewart Leaves Aiken Planning Commission After Seven Years
