Alley enters third stage of Bee Lane project
The Alley is in phase three of a three stage improvement project along Bee Lane from Laurens Street to Newberry Street. Crews will lay pavers install new sidewalks and replace water electrical and sewer lines while storm drains are added in the Bee Lane section. Tree wells with crepe myrtles will be planted and street lights upgraded once new power is connected. Undergrounding utilities is planned despite wet weather and a 225 day contract.
