Tower Records near bankruptcy sparks possible sale

Tower Records, the West Sacramento based music retailer, is likely to file for Chapter 11 within a week, opening the door to a possible sale. MTS Inc. declined comment as the chain faces about 5.2 million dollars in debt and a dwindling store count from 171 at its peak to roughly 100.

Reuse of child seats after minor crashes urged

Washington AP The NHTSA now says parents may reuse a child seat after a minor crash if the seat is undamaged and the car can still drive away. This reverses a prior warning to replace seats after any crash citing concerns about hidden damage and costs.
