Disney World bars Segways, upsetting disabled visitors
At Walt Disney World in Orlando Segways are not allowed in the four theme parks though riders may use them on resort bike paths. Some disabled visitors and even employees reportedly use the devices, while Disney cites FDA approval as the barrier. Officials note ongoing accessibility efforts include wheelchairs and other accommodations.
