Coast Guard to Train Thousands at Former Charleston Base
The Coast Guard plans to move its Law Enforcement Academy from Yorktown to the old Charleston Naval Base and co locate with a federal training center. About 2,000 trainees annually will pass through the academy with Border Patrol and other agencies also involved.
